How to Get to Uppsala for the ECEIA 2025 Conference

Uppsala, a vibrant city steeped in academic tradition, is easy to reach from both within Sweden and internationally. Whether you’re flying into Sweden or traveling by train or bus, there are convenient transport options to get you to Uppsala and to the European Conference on Ethics and Integrity in Academia (ECEIA) 2025. Here’s how you can get to the conference:

By Air

Uppsala is located just 40 km north of Stockholm, making it easily accessible from Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN), the largest airport in Sweden. From Arlanda, you can reach Uppsala by:

Train: The direct train service from Arlanda to Uppsala takes about 20 minutes. Trains run frequently, making it a quick and easy option for conference attendees.

Bus: A direct bus service from Arlanda to Uppsala also operates, taking around 40 minutes.

Alternatively, you can fly into Stockholm Bromma Airport (BMA), which is about 75 km from Uppsala, or Stockholm Skavsta Airport (NYO), located further south, though these options may require additional travel by train or bus.

By Train

Uppsala is well-connected to major cities across Sweden. The Uppsala Central Station is a hub for regional and intercity trains. From Stockholm, the train ride to Uppsala takes around 40 minutes, with departures every 10-15 minutes throughout the day.

By Bus

There are also bus services available from Stockholm and other nearby cities. The long-distance buses arrive at Uppsala’s central bus station, which is just a short walk from the university.

By Car

If you prefer to drive, Uppsala is easily accessible by road from Stockholm, with a travel time of about 45 minutes to 1 hour via the E4 motorway. There are several parking options around the university campus.
