Ask a Question
Who should ask for support?
Here we provide support for people affected by the inappropriate actions of other people (as a victim) and for people who regret their own inappropriate actions. Such inappropriate actions may be related to questionable academic and research practices, false allegations, bullying, unethical conduct, academic dishonesty, and research misconduct.
You are welcome to use this Portal to get advice for any of these circumstances if you:
- would like to receive support and guidance from our mentors (see information about our mentors here) relating to a case of misconduct or questionable practice in research or education;
- are unfairly disadvantaged or impacted in your working or private life through a case of misconduct or questionable practice in research or education;
- know of someone who needs help and support relating to a case of misconduct or questionable practice in research or education;
- are unsure about the actions to take to report a case of misconduct or questionable practice in research or education; and/or
- have witnessed a case of questionable behaviour and would like to seek advice on dealing/reporting it or raise awareness about the problem.
Who will see the question?
Tell us about your situation or ask us a question! Below, you can share your request for help in confidence. All requests will be private by default and only visible to our team of mentors. This team will assess your request and offer you support and guidance on the actions to take.
What will happen next?
After posting your request, you will receive an email to register at the Portal. Please register to be able to see a response from a mentor. All communications between you and our mentors will be made through the Portal in a private mode.
