ENAI Outstanding Member Award
Shivadas Shivasubramaniam, University of Derby, UK
This year, the ENAI Outstanding Member Award is given to Shivadas Shivasubramaniam, an ENAI Board member who demonstrated exceptional leadership, guiding ENAI’s strategic direction and fostering positive change. Shiva showcased exceptional organizational skills and was involved in groundbreaking projects related to academic integrity. His contributions serve as a model and inspiration for further activities that advance ENAI’s goals and values. His leadership and dedication have laid the groundwork for continued growth and impact, ensuring that ENAI remains at the forefront of promoting ethics and integrity in academia.
ENAI Exemplary Activism Award
Steph Allen, Bournemouth University, UK
This year, the ENAI Exemplary Activism Award is given to Steph Allen, whose efforts have attracted a wider audience to the topic of academic integrity and significantly contributed to different discussions on the topic, not only on the European level but globally as well. ENAI’s collaboration with Steph has been highly valued by the organization, and we hope to collaborate successfully with her and continue to follow her efforts.
Tracy Bretag ENAI Memorial Award
Tomáš Foltýnek, Masaryk University, Czechia
This year, ENAI is proud to give the Tracey Bretag ENAI Memorial Award 2024 to Tomáš Foltýnek, who committed himself to academic integrity in many different ways throughout his career. Tomáš contributed to the establishment, development, and growth of ENAI and has significantly contributed to ENAI’s recognition on an international level. Aside from his contribution to ENAI, he is recognized for his personal expertise in academic integrity, not only as a practitioner but as a leader as well.
ENAI Outstanding Student Award
Carla Novelo, UDEM Mexico
This year, the ENAI Outstanding Student Award is given to Carla Novelo, who promotes integrity and continues to mentor students, advocating for values such as integrity, honesty, justice, and responsibility. Carla also promoted civic culture, resulting in increased student participation in internal electoral processes at her university. She emphasizes the importance of academic integrity and values such as respect, responsibility, justice, trust, honesty, and courage, and demonstrates how to live by them.
